Northampton led by 10 at halftime, and a Bri Heafey triple boosted its advantage to 25-12. But the Blue Devils watched their once 13-point lead slip to six as a stretch of defensive lapses allowed the Falcons to go on a 10-3 run.

AMHERST — Through about 13 minutes of action, it looked as if the UMass men’s basketball team was going to do something very few teams have done all season: shut down Davidson forward Reed Bailey, who leads the Atlantic 10 in points per game (20.0) this year.

WOODFORD, Vt. — The Amherst Regional girls Nordic ski team has seen a plethora of different athletes lead the Hurricanes’ pack throughout the course of this season. Each meet it’s typically someone new at the front, and that’s what makes their team so dangerous in meets with high stakes like Tuesday’s 2025 MIAA Nordic Ski Championships at Prospect Mountain.

AMHERST — The rules were rather simple to Noah Lee, who stepped onto Jack Leaman Court inside the Mullins Center at halftime of Wednesday night’s women’s basketball game between the host Minutewomen and St. Bonaventure.
